Individuals over age 40 are strongly urged to apply. *************************** Be Honest With Us and Yourself We love to have as many dedicated volunteers as possible joining us. In our interviews we see nothing but the seemingly brightest and the best applying to our project. Unfortunately, sometimes the "burger on the menu looks a lot different than what arrived on the plate." With that said, we would like to advise any applicant to be frank and honest with us. It is fine if you do not know Spanish yet. If you want time to do the touristy things available, that is ok too, just let us know. We want you to have a wonderful time and be of service to the children as well. Always be honest and forthcoming in your responses to our questions and you can expect us to always be equally honest regarding any questions that you will have. We reserve the right to terminate a volunteer's service with us at any time, for cause. The rule of thumb on this is simple: If it would get you fired from a good job where you are from, it will get you terminated from Changes for New Hope. Ask for details of our expectations and kindly let us know what are yours.
